- 2 ½ cups Quark
- 1 grated apple
- 1 cup of sour canned cherries, drained
- ¾ cup sugar
- 3 eggs
- ½ cup corn starch
- 2 Tbsp baking powder
- juice of one lemon
Mix apples, cherries and 2 Tbsp sugar. Mix the rest of the sugar with the lemon juice, egg yolks, cornstarch, baking powder and Quark. Beat the egg whites until stiff and mix under the Quark mixture. Layer a greased non-stick baking form with the Quark crème and cherry mixture. The top layer should be Quark. Bake at 400F until golden.
