Swiss Quark Lugano
  • 1 ¼ cups Quark
  • 1 Tbsp heavy cream
  • 2 cups buttermilk
  • 1/3 cup raisins
  • 3 cups of diced apples
  • ½ cup mandarin pieces
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1 ½ tsp vanilla sugar or 1 pack Dr. Oetker Vanilla Sugar
  • juice of ½ lemon
  • 1 shot glass rum

Mix Quark with heavy cream, buttermilk, lemon juice, sugar and vanilla sugar until creamy. Soak the raisins in hot water, and discard extra water. Mix the fruits and line a bowl with them. Spread the Quark mixture over it. Serve cold with a slice of wholegrain bread.
