Quark Quiche with Herbs
  • seite162 ½ cups Quark
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 stick + 1 Tbsp butter, room temperature
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 3-5 eggs
  • a few tablespoons of milk
  • 2 Tbsp chopped herbs (parsley, dill, basil, chives)

Mix flour with salt, butter, milk and 1 egg. Retain 1 Tbsp of flour. Press the dough into a greased nonstick spring form. Make sure the walls are also covered. Prick several times with a fork. Mix Quark with Egg yolks, remaining flour, salt and herbs. Transfer into the spring form. Bake until golden brown and toothpick comes out clean at 350F. Tastes good hot or cold.
