Quark Pan-Fried Biscuits
  • 1 ¼ cup Quark
  • 1 ¾ cups of mashed potatoes
  • 1 cup of flour
  • 2 eggs
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • 3 Tbsp butter, room temperature
  • ¾ cup raisins
  • a little bit of lemon rind
  • 1 dash of salt

Soak the raisins in hot water and discard water once done. Mix butter with sugar, eggs, salt and lemon rind until creamy. Add a little at the time of the mashed potatoes, Quark and flour. Last add the raisins. Form small biscuits and panfry in butter until brown. Sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon.
