Quark Dumplings
  • 2 ½ cups Quark
  • 1 stick butter at room temperature
  • 2/3 cup cream of wheat
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 dash of salt
  • cinnamon and sugar

Cream the butter, add the eggs, salt, Quark and mix well. Mix in the cream of wheat. Cover and let sit for 20 minutes. Make small tablespoon sized dumplings and cook in salt water until raising to the top for about 12 minutes. Sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon and serve with melted butter.
