Quark Potato Overbake
  • 1 pound of cooked potatoes
  • 2 ½ cups Quark
  • 3 egg yolks
  • 3 egg whites
  • 2 Tbsp glazed onions with parsley
  • 3 Tbsp cream of wheat
  • ½ cup milk
  • salt, nutmeg, and paprika to taste
  • 3 Tbsp grated cheese

Grease a nonstick baking pan and fill with cooked potato slices. Mix Quark with all the other ingredients with the exception of the egg whites and grated cheese. Beat egg whites until stiff and fold into Quark mixture. Spread over the potatoes and sprinkle with grated cheese. Add a few butter flakes. Bake at 350F for 30 minutes.
