Quark Fingers - Schupfnudeln

schupfnudelnDough:

  • 1 ¾ cups Quark
  • 2 eggs
  • ½ cup milk
  • salt
  • 1 2/3 cups flour
  • ½ pound of cooked mashed potatoes

For cooking:

  • 2 cups milk
  • 5 Tbsp butter

Mix the dough and form finger long sticks. In the meanwhile bring milk and butter to a boil. Add the sticks to the pot and let simmer until all liquids have been absorbed and brown slightly. Serve with vegetables, tomato sauce and salad. Sauerkraut is a favorite.
