Potato Quark Overbake
  • 2 ½ cups Quark
  • 1 pound of potatoes
  • 1 chopped onion
  • chopped parsley
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/3 cup cream of wheat
  • ½ cup milk
  • ½ cup grated swiss cheese
  • 2 Tbsp butter
  • 1 dash of salt
  • nutmeg
  • 1 tsp paprika

Cut potatoes into slices and layer into a greased ovenproof dish. Mix Quark with Onion, parsley, egg yolks, cream of wheat, milk, salt and spices. Beat egg whites until stiff and mix under the Quark mixture. Spread over the potatoes. Sprinkle cheese over it and add butter flakes. Bake in oven at 350F until golden brown.
