Tyrolean Quark Strudel
  • 2 ½ cups Quark
  • 1 ¼ cups flour
  • 1 egg
  • 1 pack Dr. Oetker Vanilla Pudding powder
  • 5 Tbsp sugar
  • rind of one orange
  • 2 Tbsp raisins
  • 2 Tbsp poppy seeds
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • ½ cup water
  • salt

Make dough from flour, egg, and water. Roll out and transfer onto floured four sack towel. Stretch out thinly. Mix Quark with orange rind, raisins, and poppy seeds. Spread over the dough. Carefully roll up the roll using the flour sack towel. Bake at 350F for 40 minutes. Brush with butter while baking. Spread sour cream over the strudel and bake an additional 10 minutes. Serve hot.
