Dough:
- 2 ½ cups flour
- 1 ½ tsp dry yeast
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 6 Tbsp melted butter
- ½ cup warm milk
- 1 egg
- 1 dash salt
- rind of one lemon
Filling:
- 5 cups Quark
- ¾ cup sugar
- 1 ½ tsp vanilla sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1 shot glass rum or 1 tsp rum flavor
- 3 ½ Tbsp corn starch
Crumble:
- 2 ¾ cups flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 stick + 6 Tbsp melted butter
- ½ Tbsp cinnamon
- 1 dash of salt
Mix dough and let rest for 20 minutes. Spread onto cookie sheet and raise dough up the sides. Mix butter, sugar and vanilla sugar until creamy. Slowly mix in one egg at a time, followed by the Quark, rum, and corn starch. Spread onto dough. Mix up streusel and put on top. Bake for 30 minutes at 350F.
