1 ½ tsp vanilla sugar or 1 pack Dr. Oetker Vanilla Sugar
dash of salt
1 egg
1 ½ cups flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 large can of canned apricots (about 1.5 pounds)
1 cup Quark
1 cup buttermilk
2 eggs
3 Tbsp cornstarch
3 Tbsp sugar
Mix butter flakes with sugar, salt, egg and baking powder into the flour. Refrigerate. Remove apricots from can and pat dry. Roll out dough onto a cookie sheet. Layer apricots onto it. Mix Quark with buttermilk, eggs, cornstarch and sugar. Spread on top. Bake at 425F for 35 minutes.
