Quark Doughnuts
  • quarkdoughnuts1 pack yeast or 1 ½ tsp dry yeast
  • 3 cups flour
  • salt
  • ½ cup warm milk
  • 2 Tbsp butter
  • 2 ½ cups Quark

Proof the yeast with the milk and some of the flour. Mix all ingredients and let rest for 30 minutes. Form doughnuts and let rise on a parchment paper lined cookie sheet. Bake in fat until brown. Sprinkle with sugar.
